How to reach us
Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences, Largo Paolo Braccini 2 - 10095 Grugliasco (TO) – Italy (45.066329N - 7.58871E).
The Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences is in the city of Grugliasco, which is well connected to the capital city using public transport services, Turin automatic metro and train (in addition to personal means of transport). The Campus or University Pole of Grugliasco includes the Dipartimento di Scienze Agrarie, Forestali ed Alimentari (Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences), Biblioteca di Scienze Agrarie e Veterinarie (Library of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences), Centro Incontro Studenti- Aula studio Bertrand (Students meeting center, Bertrand study room), and is open to the public from Monday to Friday from 8.00 to 19:30 (Saturday and Sunday closed, except for the veterinary hospital).
Lessons are mainly held on the Grugliasco campus.
The Segreteria Studenti (Students administration office), Segreteria didattica (Didactic Secretary), Sportello Tutorato e Placement (Tutoring and Placement desk) are located in the classroom building. There is a Mensa universitaria (University canteen service) on the campus managed by Edisu.
How to reach the Department of Agricultural, Forestry and Food Sciences
By plane. The Aeroporto di Torino (airport of Turin) "Sandro Pertini" is about 15 km from the center of the capital. A freeway connects it to the Turin ring road and motorway system. From the airport, there is a continuous bus and treno(train) service to Turin and vice versa, as well as autonoleggio e taxi (car rental and taxi).

By train. Turin can be reached by two main stations: the Porta Nuova central station in Piazza Carlo Felice, which serves the routes to the South, and the Porta Susa station in Piazza XVIII Dicembre, which serves the routes to the East, West and the North. The Servizio ferroviario metropolitano (metropolitan rail service), SFM3, on the Turin-Susa-Bardonecchia FS line with a fast connection from Turin Porta Nuova station allows, every half hour, to reach Grugliasco station in 10 minutes. From here, a pedestrian and cycle path connects the stop to the Campus, which is about 5 minutes away on foot. Ticket offices in stations.
The automatic metro service: get off the metro at Fermi station. You can reach the Campus by walking for 15 minutes or use the bus shuttle service 76 which has a stop 100 m from the entrance gate of the University Centre. Ticket offices in stations.
Public transport service of GTT: it is necessary to have an urban + suburban ticket which can be purchased at bars, newsagents and tabacchi service. You can choose to take the 76 bus line or other public transport interchange that you can find here by filling out the form.
The Campus can also be reached using the recent bike-sharing service with two stations near the University Centre: one at the Grugliasco railway station and the other near the Campus.
